Central Hawkes Bay Parents Centre is an independent, volunteer-led centre that is part of the wider Parents Centre Aotearoa network. Our locally-based educators provide professional antenatal and postnatal courses, covering pregnancy, labour, childbirth and care of a newborn, using evidence-based information, to ensure parents are well-informed and confident going into the early years of parenting.
In Central Hawkes Bay, educators are supported by a group of dedicated volunteers who offer additional services and groups to support local parents. These volunteers know that parenting is a huge life change because many of them have been on the same journey. Our groups support parents to feel connected, supported and understood.
